If you want to buy white gold diamond ring, there are several things you must pay attention.

Why have to be white gold? – Actually is more about personal taste. White looks more fresh, modern and can match with almost any dress or suit.

14K or 18K? – 14K gold contains 14 parts gold and 10 parts alloys by weight, while 18 K gold contains 18 parts gold and 6 parts alloys by weight. That’s mean 14K gold is slightly harder than 18K gold.

The Diamond – 4c: before you buy diamond, it is better if you learn about the 4c (Cut, Color, Clarity and Carat). If you want to buy an expensive diamond, you should buy certified diamond.

Diamond Cut – There are many diamonds cut style you may choose. The most common that chosen by people is round brilliant cut and princess cut, it’s because they create more sparkle and shine known as “fire” than other types of cut.

Black Diamond Engagement Rings – Breathtaking

Black diamond engagement rings are beautiful to behold; contrasted against colorless diamonds, white sapphires, or any other precious gem that makes for a stunning contrast. These rings can have diamond settings with the black diamond appearing in a variety of shades: somewhat greenish, translucent black, almost gray, or solidly black.

With these black diamonds beside the white gold, the eye is just naturally drawn to them. Bare in mind, when selecting a black diamond engagement ring or any black diamond ring, you should always keep the “4 C’s” of diamond quality in mind. These are color, clarity, carat, and cut.

Color – They are crystallized carbon, just like colorless diamonds. The darkness of black diamonds comes from very small cracks throughout the stone that contain graphite or sulphides or when a near-white diamond is exposed to very high temperatures.

Clarity – Black diamonds must have a glossy, sparkling surface.

Carat – Carat refers how much the diamond weighs. Because a black diamond is heavier than other diamonds, it may look smaller than a white diamond.

Cut – The cut of diamond is not according to it’s shape but rather to the stone’s proportions and polish. Most of the time black diamonds have a simple cut of sixteen facets and their surface should be smooth and no cracks.
